Bonnie Rickner Jensen does it again with this sweet poetic board book for the little ones It is not your normal short board book, but yet not too long that your child will not be captivated by the illustrations and the poems that tell the sweet little story of what this little girl knows about Your child will be delighted to read this book, as will you.I received this book free from the publisher through the BookLook Bloggers book review program I was not required to write a positive review The opinions I have expressed are my own.

This is a beautiful book, both in the message and in the illustrations What a great message for children who are just starting to get to know God This book talks about how you can t see the wind, but you know it is there and the same goes for God you can t see him but you know he is there The book talks about the wind, rain, snow, the moon and the sun, explaining why we believe in them, when we can t see or touch them Each page has a cute little rhyme explaining each element The illustrations are beautiful are feature a variety of different children, animals and natural scenes This would be a great book for personal use, but could also be used in a Sunday School or Children in Worship setting.Thank you to the publisher, Thomas Nelson, for sending me a review copy of this book.

MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK This Is an amazing little board book for your very young child The story of God s creation is everywhere in this book The pictures are adorable And you have fun reading this book to your child, you will also be able to explain the many things on this earth that we can t see, or touch, but it s still there, just like God is here with each of us, even though we can t see or touch him I included pictures in this review to show you a few of the pages, and there are many like this in this sweet board book, made with excellent care so your little one will have many years of enjoyment.A copy of this book was provided by Front Gate Tours and the author for me to read and review I was not required to write a positive review The opinions in this review are mine only.

God I Know You re There is an illustrated children s board book featuring a poem by Bonnie Rickner Jensen and the beautiful artwork of Lucy Fleming. The poem consists of various phrases for Children to think on such as Wind, I can t see you Still I know you re there I feel you dance across my face and rustle through my hair Thunder, I can t watch you Still I know you re there The lightening blinks before you boom You re nature s stormy pair God, I can t see you Still I know You re There You re in the love I give away The sparkle when I care The poem is cute and will encourage young ones to think on what it means to know something or someone is there, despite not being able to visually see it, such as the wind The beginning of the poem brings to memory an analogy, one heard often in my childhood You can t see the wind, but you can see what it does This, being similar to God I might recommend this work for younger children who have yet to grasp certain concepts.Fleming s artwork is gorgeous as well If I had a list of my favourite illustrations, her work would be included in it The use of colour is beautiful and the artwork is fantastic. The last page is a little strange to me, particularly the sparkle when I care line, but I think with a biblically informed adult to explain what the phrase means, this book would be a good addition to the children s bookshelf.I received a copy of this book in exchange for my fair and honest review.

God, I Know You re There is a children s story and picture book that demonstrates how even though we cannot see, touch, reach, or watch things does not mean they are not there The book talks about the wind, sun, sky, clouds, moon, stars, rainbows, rain, thunder, seeds, and snowflakes, and then talks about God, saying that though we cannot see Him, we can feel His love. The verses are well written, and the cute drawings have a Studio Ghibli feel I like how the drawings have a textured look that resemble paintings My favorite set of pages shows a girl gleefully catching snowflakes in front of a snowy scene with the words, Snowflake, I can t trace your crystals Still I know you re there You ve been designed so I won t find One like you anywhere The rhythm of the book has a calming and comforting tone With its reassuring words, God I Know You re There would make a great bedtime book, or a great anytime book It would work for a bedtime book or an anytime book I had previously enjoyed reading Bonnie Rickner Jensen s Bedtime Read and Rhyme Bible Stories I received this book for review.

This little, charming, delightfully illustrated book will help your little one find answers to the big question of Where Is God Is He Here With Me and parents will find that they, too, will think on a grander, deeper scale about the presence of Almighty God.Thomas Nelson s kid s imprint Tommy Nelson has hit one outta the park with this little gem.Simply stated in gentle rhymes the child affirms the wind, sky, clouds, et al are there because he can sense them or see them but he can t actually hold, or feel, nor understand them These are big things in life and prepare one for understanding the concept of an Almighty, All present God.Lovely Highly recommend DISCLOSURE I received a complimentary copy from the publisher to facilitate this review Opinions are my own and are freely given.

Where is God Why can t I see Him Is He here with me It can be difficult to explain God to curious children Through lyrical rhymes and enchanting art, this book reveals that God is all around us You ll close this book and say with your little ones, God, I know You re there This is an extremely adorable board book with an awesome message It teaches that there are many things we can t see or hear, but that doesn t make them any less real. The illustrator, Lucy Fleming, is one of the best illustrators I ve ever seen for children s books The pictures were so cute, detailed, and whimsical I found myself flipping through the book to see them multiple times.God, I Know You re There is a book I totally recommend Not only is it a great way to teach about God, but it s art and cute rhymes can be enjoyed by the parents, too I was sent a free copy of this book from HarperCollins for an honest review

This is a really cute story that littles are sure to enjoy It gets them to think about things they know are real yet can t understand with all of their senses For example, you can feel the wind and know it s there, but you can t see it You can see the moon in the sky and know it s there, but you can t touch it This book shows kids that even though you can t see God, you can know that He s there Seeing is not the only way to know if something is real It shares profound truth in a way kids can understand The illustrations are adorable and fit perfectly with the story This book is a great opportunity for interaction between parents and kids about the reality and nearness of God This is a wonderful addition to any home, school, or church library I received a copy of this book through FrontGate Media Thoughts and opinions expressed are mine alone.

This is a visually stunning and deep and profound and yet simplistic enough for your young ones to understand and comprehend its meaning Focusing on how we cannot see God but that we know he is there this book goes through things like clouds, stars, the sky and wind, things we cannot always see, feel or touch but that we know are there and explains how we know they are there This book is a great way for kids to begin to understand God and how we know he is there despite not being able to see him with our physical eyes.Well written and perfect for little ones this is a great way to start conversation about God and who he is.I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion.
